I very often have the experience of enjoying an activity and wondering what would happen/would have happened to me if I focused more on it.

Also, given my generation, I am amazed that English seemed like the "safer" choice of major! I feel like at my age one is scolded and shamed for anything other than science.Annabeth Leonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07455191827664110878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9156334464585894857.post-46696155975617066302016-03-05T14:24:06.898-05:002016-03-05T14:24:06.898-05:00Thank you, Lisabet!Thank you, Lisabet!Jean Robertahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08805088081675965859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9156334464585894857.post-17133531315018843372016-02-26T23:33:16.349-05:002016-02-26T23:33:16.349-05:00I've always been impressed by your versatility...I've always been impressed by your versatility, Jean--and that was before reading this and learning about some of your other talents.

In a sense, the concept of "career" is false. (Look at Daddy X!) We are the sum of all the activities we've undertaken, regardless of our levels of success.

Meanwhile, don't feel bad. All systems eventually slide back into chaos! That's the nature of the universe and the second law of thermodynamics.
Lisabet Saraihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05162514190572269660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9156334464585894857.post-10583214808402837152016-02-26T19:24:00.702-05:002016-02-26T19:24:00.702-05:00I suspect that San Francisco was Ground Zero for A...I suspect that San Francisco was Ground Zero for AIDS in the 1980s, and LA was prob. a close second. Like a war or a famine that drives people into exile, though, the plague drove some exiles here to the Canadian prairies. Those first few years certainly devastated San Francisco. The early 80's marked losses across the board. Everyone lost people.Daddy Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12927663248424944119noreply@blogger.com
