Without some statistics, attributing these attitudes to 4-Chan type of folks seems like an unjustified assumption.<br /><br />When people are frustrated, they're more likely to fantasize about extremes. And certainly, many of us are frustrated these days -- though for varying reasons.<br /><br />Sometimes I do think back wistfully to the days when I didn't carry a mobile phone with me everwhere... when I'd go off on a trip (as I am about to do right now) without concerns about checking my email every day.<br /><br />Simpler times.
