I don't know what is best for your work, all I know is that I love it.

And your crit group sounds like so much fun. I know I have always enjoyed getting together with you to talk shop.

XoXoXo
Dakota RebelAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12352767450969548151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9156334464585894857.post-67030852261301869862008-10-02T10:01:00.000-04:002008-10-02T10:01:00.000-04:00You are so right. There are many places where you can find one on one partners that will, at the very least, tell you if the story is working. And yes, too much critiquing can lead to a loss of voice. That's why an author should always remember that this is her/his story and only they can tell it the way it needs to be. The critique partner/group needs to understand that all their input should be taken or not, depending on whether the author agrees with how it relates to their story.

Thanks so much for posting! Love it.

Hugs
JudithJudith Legerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02997747703670815073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9156334464585894857.post-72294782046296151392008-10-02T06:58:00.000-04:002008-10-02T06:58:00.000-04:00That voice thing is oh so important -- even when e...That voice thing is oh so important -- even when editing.
