Then it seemed like virtual reality. So I didn't predict the end, either.

I'm interested in Anna, though, and these attitudes of her and her sister. She sounds like she has a history before this experience... Your characters always seem to be searching for answers they can't find, or for something to make life worth living...but even without finding it, they usually soldier on anyway.

You definitely don't write "light" or frothy. Your romances aren't the champagne and chocolates kind, but more the "I can't live without you...but I can't really live with you either. So let's both die...or continue to live in torment." Does that make any sense?Fiona McGierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13495707848048468428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9156334464585894857.post-76719416561646353322014-05-29T21:39:48.842-04:002014-05-29T21:39:48.842-04:00Hi Lisabet!

Also the Madeleine cookies are a touch of my own life since I've recently been learning how to make them.

I remember that song! Personally I think having an amorous ghost would be kind of interesting and I wonder if it would feel the same as being unfaithful. Some how it doesn't seem to me like it would. It would be fun to try.

Other people have also told me that my stories are dark, which surprised me to hear since I don;t see myself as a dark person inside, but it does seem to be true. i don;t know why exactly. Somehow dark comes more easily to me. Makes me wonder.

GarceGarceushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11160407485298015371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9156334464585894857.post-12713209064078422262014-05-29T06:14:39.024-04:002014-05-29T06:14:39.024-04:00Not to mention squarely on the topic! It sounded just like my Mom and her sisters yakking, when they'd forget I was still in the room and discuss things little me wasn't supposed to know about. I'm sure the older sister would have set about trying to invite the "ghost" to visit her, and would have spent years at it! And now that the younger one confessed, she'd likely only remember it in "wet dreams" for a very long time!

Remember that song, "Imaginary Lovers", which celebrates lovers you can enjoy anytime? They're always there for you, and never have demands of their own that you don't want to fill. Perfect, right? And your "ghost" with "snakes" hanging from him certainly qualifies as a great fantasy lover!

Not as dark or as brooding as your stuff usually is, but you have such a great ear for dialogue and how people actually do talk to each other.
