There were so many moments in this blog where I went back and re-read just for the language, the way you might linger over a verse in a King James bible. Its such a tactile pleasure to read your stuff.

I notice this theme of anticipating emotional rejection and pain and pre-emptively armoring outselves against it in many of your stories. It seems to be one of your dominant themes, in case someday someone teaches a college course on your stuff. They might, you never know.

GarceGarceushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11160407485298015371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9156334464585894857.post-46887138039430669082010-12-11T22:08:33.863-05:002010-12-11T22:08:33.863-05:00Hello, RG,

Like you, I'm not a sexually possessive person. I'd have no problem with my partner having other lovers. And yes, I'd like to watch, but not because I think it would help me distance myself. I don't want that protective shell.Kathleen Bradeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06347913255760493335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9156334464585894857.post-11394590361015683932010-12-11T04:31:18.048-05:002010-12-11T04:31:18.048-05:00Hi RG,

They are a reminder of loss. They hurt but they don't feel.

I'd rather be without them

Thanks for the thoughtful postMike Kimerahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18002309169478171450noreply@blogger.com
