A moment.
An indefinitely short period of time.
An instant.
The blink of an eye.
So much can happen in that instance. Lives are lost, babies are born.
You can win the lottery! (Yes, please.)
I’ve had a lot of moments in my life. The one where I met my late husband and magic happened. He was everything to me, the ultimate hero, the man who enriched my life. And I knew in that one moment this was it for me.
The moments when each of my children were born. They have grown up to be such amazing human beings. I love them more each day.
The moment I stepped into my new house for the first time. My breath caught to see the home we’d planned for two years come to life with a magic that was beyond anything we hoped.
The moment we decided to take home three kittens from the shelter instead of one.
The moment I realized I could write erotic romance and someone would actually publish it. And better yet, that readers would actually buy it!
The moment in my latest release, Ride the Mustang, when Fletcher "Mustang" Call meets April and their destiny is sealed.

Fletcher "Mustang" Call is a dedicated SEAL and a committed Dom. The one thing he isn't is relationship material. A tragedy in his past killed his desire for more than a good time on leave and a little D/s play. Until April Coe walked into his life, a woman unlike any he’s known. Problem is, she’s as vanilla as they come.

April was warned about Mustang, a man as wild and free as his call sign, so she doesn’t expect him to stick around for long. That’s okay, she'll enjoy the great sex while she can. At least, she thought it was great. When she senses her sexy bronco is holding back, she has to decide whether to ride the mustang a little harder or set him free.

I could go on and on but I think the words to the Whitney Houston song, One Moment in time, say it the best.

Each day I live, I want to be
A day to give the best of me
I'm only one, but not alone
My finest day is yet unknown

I broke my heart for every gain
To taste the sweet, I faced the pain
I rise and fall, yet through it all
This much remains

I want one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me

Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel, I will feel eternity

I've lived to be the very best
I want it all, no time for less
I've laid the plans, now lay the chance
Here in my hands

Give me one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me

Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel, I will feel eternity

You're a winner for a lifetime
If you seize that one moment in time, make it shine

Give me one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me

Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time

I will be, I will be, I will be free, I will be, I will be free
So take a deep breath, look around and enjoy your moment in time.

  2. I used to sing that song to myself while walking around or working around the house. It got more moving the more time I spent with it.
